Latitude

I recently went to my first festival with some friends. Latitude Festival is a mainly a music and comedy festival that has a range of activities for a more family orientated experience. My friends and I mainly went for the comedy aspect. It's fair to say that for some the trip had its highs and lows, with friendship fallouts and some friends struggling with the camping aspect of the festival. Despite all of that it was still a great experience, filled with many comedy acts, late night dancing and matching hat to cover up the festival hair.

A highlight for me was meeting my favourite comedian Adam Hills. I was so excited about watching The Last Leg Live, that having the chance to meet Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdecombe was a huge surprise. I had thought about what I'd say to Adam Hills if I ever met him. I would've said how I've watched the show since it first  aired for the Paralympics,
However none of these ideas came out as the second Adam Hills said hello, I just blurted out 'I'm a huge fan!' My hands were shaking so much that m surprised the photo came out clearly. So there it was, my not so cool, almost fan-girlesque, meeting with my all time favourite comedian.

One of our favourite parts was the evening events where we could listen to amazing live acts, such as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds who headlined, and the Dj sets that took place later each evening. The great music and bright lights gave us all a chance to dance and have fun, reminding us of the true reasons why people enjoy attending festivals.
